Plants.....more plants! Mwah ha ha ha!

Today I stopped by at home depot and picked a gigantic bag of miracle grow moisture control. I'm hoping it will help with the heat of summer drying out my seedling containers. I also bought Jiffy 72 Cell Pro-Hex Seed Starting Tray and several seed packets.

Today I planted:
Sunflower (evening sun)
Sunflower (autumn beauty mixed)
Watermelon ( crimson sweet)
Watermelon (heirloom seeds Georgia rattlesnake)
Beans (bush blue lake, 247)
Lettuce (giant Caesar)

I have yet to try gardening in Zone 10b (think swamp) and look forward to enjoying year round tropical blooming weather offset by battling swarms of pests, poor soil quality, extreme heat and damp conditions.
